It's not so much the term that's annoying but simply the stigma that comes along with the term teacup and how its seems to be more and more acceptable to dummy down the breed to simply an accessory as opposed to a pet.

I even would have just ignored it until she handed me a card of a local "reputable" breeder that does breeds them so tiny. She told me at a year the pup will stay at max 2lbs and under.
