Maybe I'm alone in this...but I really don't see what the big deal is in how it's phrased: teacup, small, mini, itty bitty, tiny...it all means the same. I find it greatly hypocritical that it seems ok use expression to describe a larger than average yorkie such as: extra-large, big, huge, mega, teapot.

The members above stated themselves that people note the size range of yorkies. It's understandable, because there is a difference! A 2lb yorkie, 4lb yorkie & 7lb yorkie are noticeably different in size. Yes, it's just a couple of pounds, but on a small dog, makes an obvious difference in structure, face size, paw size, etc. I don't get what the big deal is when people state the obvious.
