Moist heat for muscle spasm. It is good to put a thick turkish towel around your neck and stand in the hot shower, letting it beat down on the towel around the back of your neck, bathing your whole neck and shoulders in the heat and steam for up to 15 mins., 4 x daily. And when you have a "crick", do not put your head back as that is more unstable.
