i am so very sorry for the loss of your mom.

if you are going to board you will need to get the kennel cough vaccine, so if they havent had it yet, i would do that asap because kennels require it and i believe you have to allow so much time for it to take effect. ( i'm thinking at least a few days maybe more ).

do you have any relatives in PA near where you are going to be that you can ask. even if they can tell you who they use for a vet so you can get a refference.
Maybe someone on here is near Allentown, PA and could give you a reference. dont know if you can do a search to see if there are any members from that area.
