I know this is in the wrong place but I am not getting any answers there and I need help right now. I am trying to train Marley to go on newspaper now and I know I can't expect her to get it right away. I know it can take months if not longer to get her trained. Right now I have her on newspaper and she's been on there for 2 freaking hours and still has not gone. It's like she HOLDS it until she gets off. It's really frustrating me. She does this everytime. A few minutes ago she made a break for it and I had to run and catch her and place her back on the paper. I know she has to go because she ate before I placed her on the paper.

I am thinking about giving up with the potty pad/paper training and just teaching her to go outside because that's the only thing she seems to understand.

I don't know what else to do.
