That's a great idea. Distraction seems to work very well or even if you can get the dogs to bark and transfer that energy shaking into doing something proactive. But I've heard that no matter what we say to them or do around them during a storm, if we are scared ourselves they pick up on it no matter what. It is funny that during thunderstorms in our house I am the one shaking and Tibbe is playing or sleeping.
