Suzi gets afraide of lots of different noises. Especially if the fire alarm goes off, and if the electricity goes out. She hates bad weather too. What I do for both my girls is allow them into the bedroom> They seem to find comfort in their, I believe it is because it's the fartherst place in the apt. She shakes so badly when scared. my son and I try to help her , but we know she's terrified.
I have seen over the market meds for soothing them, but I really don't trust giving them anythingthat is not prescribed by a vet. Maybe you could call your vet and ask if they sell anything for calmness?
