I really like Sony for their Cybershot, really fast shutter speed which is good for taking quick pics of the puppies. lets see if I can find a link...All under $100 and you can get them used/re-furbished even cheaper:

The one I have is:
Amazon.com: Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T90 12.1MP... But it didn't cost me anywhere near that much...I'm sure you can get it at a better price at another location. Not sure what that seller is up to.
