I have a very large stainless steel pot. Each month I boil 3 or 4 chickens. I store the broth and chicmeat in the freezer. The canned broth is not really broth, but stock. Stock is made mostly from boiling all of the leftovers from a chicken, bones and such. That is why it is almost 99%fat free,it is also taste free. If you dont want as much fat in it,put it in the frig overnight and let the fat rise to the top so you can skim it off.
I have a larger, older dog. I mix his kibble with chicken meat and rice made with chicken broth. This is the only way I can get him to eat. I don't know how good this would be for a tiny dog,but there are alot of experienced people on this forum that can help.
