I believe you are misunderstanding this. Just because 20% of the time the test does not show GME does not mean that there is a 80% chance it is not GME. It simply means that sometimes the diagnosis cannot be made by the spinal alone. Normally, from what I understand, the MRI and spinal are done at the same time.
