As others said- much better to have a bad haircut then have your baby hurt. What I found worked the best was to find a groomer who let me stay- this way I could explain exactly what I wanted as they were grooming and I could also see how they treated my pup and interacted with them. Once I trusted the groomer and knew I was getting what I wanted, I felt comfortable leaving them. Now I can literally drop them off, or have someone do it for me, and have no need to speak with the groomer because she knows exactly what I want and I feel comfortable knowing they are treated good and safe.
