I am in need of a trainer or some good training tips. Izzy is 4 years old, for the most part he is a good dog except for the following:
1). Aggression towards dogs when walking. I almost have to avoid seeing other dogs in the neighborhood otherwise he will bark and squeal uncontrollably as if someone is hurting him. The other dog is usually across the street and very far away.
2). Barking, barking, barking...need I say more? He barks when it thunders, when the neighbors in my apartment building open their doors and leave, he barks like crazy when someone is at the door and when the bell rings. I try "quite" "no bark" and give treats when he is quiet but I am doing something wrong.
3). Agression towards other dogs in person. My sister has a yorkie, I brought Izzy to her house so they could meet. He growled and it looked like he was trying to bite Knox (sisters dog), so we had to keep them apart.
I don't know what to do. I love him to death but he drives me crazy. Any tips, suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
