I've been using Frontline Plus for many years with success and never any problem, although I do know that if you have a big tick problem in your area it may not do the job well enough. We do have a lot of ticks hI don't use Advantix because I have a cat who likes to hang out with the dogs (he plays with my yorkie all the time) and K9 Advantix is extremely dangerous for cats if they "groom" a dog treated with it (I've seen it quite a few times when I worked as a vet tech and not alot of ppl, even vets, realize this). I think pretty much any product sold by a veterinarian will work (frontline, advantage, revolution etc.) fine when used as directed. I've used pretty much everything at least once since working for a vet I would get "freebies" from the drug reps. and they all worked great. I just personaly stick with the Frontline, like I said, because of my cat.
