I like the black background. And it's not as though you're asking people to read text as long as "War and Peace." For the most part, what little text you have is large enough to read quickly.

If I force myself to be picky, the only minor problem I have is the second line looks a little small and tough to read in the green type.
"For every $1 you spend get 5% added to your rewards account to use towards your next purchase. (customer must login to receive reward points)."

Coming so high on the page, I can see people might think the entire page is going to be difficult to read, when really, everything else is larger type. A point or two larger might help.
