Oh, I don't know. Some kids are pretty precocious. When my oldest daughter was 2 we were in the doctor's office waiting for an appointment. All the kids were gathered around the huge fish tank calling out "Fish, fish, fishies!" My little know it all walked up to the tank, pointed to a fish in the corner and said "Plecostomus".
I got a few dirty looks from the other moms.
