I had to have my entire thyroid gland removed due to a fast-growing multi-nodular goiter with suspicious nodules. They turned out to contain some of those "pre-cancerous" lesions. I wondered if it was due to the NUMEROUS xrays I had on my neck before & after a surgery to fuse my cervical vertebrae at C6/7. I worried a little at the time that they seemed to be doing a LOT of xrays. I am thinking that could well be the cause of my thyroid problems.
