Yep, just the tips......the secret is to make sure you have a firm grip on each nail....not allowing them to move....this insures no vibration as you clip down.....the fibration is what they don't like.....

Yes, you can purchase them at PetsMart in the cat section....they looked like little angled scissors...I have the one's with a black grips....don't get the one's that are all stainless steel....they seem to slip.
