There are plenty of reputable breeders in New England - and you should save your money and wait for one of those puppies to become available. Don't be penny wise and pound foolish like I was - I've spent more money than I care to remember on sick dogs from questionable places. There is a world of difference between a well bred yorkie and a crappy one and it is NOT just about looks.
The other option is rescue. This place seems to have a lot of yorkies that show up on petfinder - they are in Cumberland RI. I do not know anything about them other than I've seen their listings but you might want to give them a try.
