Welcome to YT!!! My Oliver was on Purina after he was rescued as well... he is now on Taste of the Wild and he loves it! I went to a local pet store (don't get me wrong they don't sell pets... just pet clothes, leashes, food, treats, etc.) and they were able to give me several samples of food that have been several suggested to you on this thread... and I transitioned him over a week and his belly was fine.
I can't wait to see pictures!!!
