Absolutely, However, my contract does state non-refundable deposit....it was drawn up by a laywer and legal. But, as I said I've never had this occur since my families know way in advance they want a pup from me and have been on the waiting list for months, have had the contract in their hands, and since I don't breed unless I'm looking for my next show dog, some have been on the list as long as 2 years. Families have backed out of the list prior to a breeding because one reason or another......but, all have been nice enough to notify me.
