wow i can't believe some doctors don't give you the thyroid protector for x-rays. I always make sure I'm protected. I'm used to the equipment because i've taken hundreds of x-rays as a vet tech and I always make sure every part of me is as covered as it can get. I also make sure to put my arms and hands behind the apron as well if i can.
