Well you wouldn't neuter her you would spay her, neuter is for males. Breeding your female is not something that should be taken lightly. It is a very serious thing. For the fact of you just wanting to be a "grandma" is silly, that is not a reason to breed your female. You should wait until her cycle is over and take her in and have her spayed. It will be best. If you have a male I would also get him neutered, this world is full of unwanted animals we do not need anymore.
