My Yogi knows when I have a migraine, & even kisses my head where it hurts. I have seen a documentary on the phenomenon of dogs knowing their owners are coming home, even if it's not in the same car or at the same time.
They filmed the dog at home at the same time filming the owner at work. The dog was happily napping, the owner working...the very second the owner started grabbing her purse, keys, etc. & started turning off the office lights...40 mins away, the dog woke up at home. The closer she got to home, the more the dog paced, showed excitement, etc.
I think it's incredible, & who knows the abilities our dogs actually have. They say we read too much into our dogs intelligence, I say we don't give them enough credit:P
Also, it is proven that dogs can smell cancer cells, & dogs are starting to be used to detect cancer in patients long before doctor's are able to. Really amazing!
