Sounds like separation anxiety, too, with the jumping, crying when you leave. Search for the separtion anxiety training threads and articles and read up on how to deal with this most effectively. With some training she can learn how to deal with the occasion of your leaving and her alone time. It is a learned skill for some dogs - others come by it naturally. It can develop at most anytime in a dog's life due to several things but is most common with new dogs.
