How is she when other dogs come to her house? Not when she goes to other dogs houses? BC Uni was fine going to others homes, but once we had one in hers, oh no, uh uh she was not having it! But that's just Uni. She better now, but still, that's why I occasionally foster, and I don't have another one full time.
On the issue of you not having unlimited funds, none of us do. If the right one comes along you will know, and you will make it work.
