Anyone thinking they are helping a rescue needs to contact the rescue first before posting pups on other sites. I have seen people post rescues on Craig's List for rescues that don't want their pups on there.
Thank you for clarifying the rules for me. I was wondering why there weren't more posts regarding rescues. I guess I should have spent more time reading this forum before posting to figure out how it works. I'm on another breed forum and we share a lot of rescue links with each other as do the rescue directors and fosters. A lot of rescues have found great homes that way - of course, after the adopters have gone through rigorous screenings and home checks - no cutting corners. We also have an annual rescue raffle and other fundraisers for different rescues that we run on the forum and have raised a good bit of money that way. But, I understand that each forum is different and can greatly respect that. Thanks!
