Vicki, I never thought Toby would wear any either. The first boots I ordered from Karen were snow boots and I laughed so hard I cried when he first walked in them. So I decided to order some slippers from her and he walked around in them just fine and that's what got him used to wearing the boots. The socks he doesn't mind at all either. It's getting him to hold still to get them on. But once I get one on, I'm sure he's thinking "ok fine, just hurry up and get this over with." He's sooooo good about letting me put things on him. It took several times and a lot of patience (which I don't normally have except with him) but it was worth it. I'm sure the next time I put the snow boots on him he will be high stepping for a while. It's definitely entertaining. Personally, I think the slippers are the first thing one should buy if they aren't sure if their pups will wear boots, socks, sandals, etc. They are SUPER EASY to put on and they stay on!
