That's the scarey part on breeding a girl under 5 pounds.....you don't know how many pups they'll concieve, and if they concieve more pups will they have enough room to carry to term...
Weight gain is contingent on how she's eating, how many she's concieved, and how they are gaining. Several factors to take into consideration....also, one must remember with the the first litter their muscles are taunt, haven't stretched, just as in humans......
