Hi welcome to YT and congratulations on your new baby!!

My best advice to you that worked for me was to place his kennel on a nightstand next to you. He just wants to be able to see you I even sometimes would have to keep my hand in there to stop him from crying til he fell asleep and eventually it became routine. Another thing you can do is drape a light sheet or blanket over top of his kennel (make sure its not heavy) so that it will be pitch dark for him. That sometimes will help them sleep as well. Best of luck to you!! Be patient, he'll get used to it and end up sleeping in bed with you!!
