I've been buying a different brand of waterproof mascara each time and found some make my eyes blur or water, some flake and it's not a pretty sight to see black specks under the eye, or end up looking like I smudged an eye liner. The best I've found is by Urban Decay. I also use their eyeshadow Primer lotions. It's keeps the eye shadow from fading or creasing, and keeps the eye liner from smudging. (their powder eye shadow is wonderful). I also use their lip primer lotion. It keeps my lipstick on much longer.

If you can't find a mascara that you like, maybe consider those little lashes that you glue just two or three hairs into your own. You can add as many as you like and you can't even tell they aren't your own.
