I completely agree about the sterile saline wash. Wal-Mart carries it which I find is a lesser price than most other stores.
Your puppy could be allergic to some type of air born pollen, dust or the type of food. I would keep him inside as much as possible right now since this is a major allergy season, and start him on some cooked red meat with broccoli, carrots & green beans. After a week if there is no improvement, then maybe you should take him to the Vet. to find out what else can be done. Believe it or not, this is more common than you realize.
