How is the pup doing? Yes, accidents happen so fast. Basil is doing good, but each day is a long one as he does not like being on limited duty! He walks good with the cast, and it does not seem to bother him, but he hates the x=pen for the confinement. My wife is gone for 4 days on business, and Basil and the other 2 dogs are going out of their way to make it difficult for me.
We learned that no one outside of us will ever pick up and hold Basil. Had dogs all of my life, and that is a lot of years, and never had a dog hurt under my watch. Well, I can't say that anymore. Sounds like you did the right thing with your guy, and hope he makes a complete recovery. |
