There is a Vet in Solana Beach, very far for me (I live in Murrieta), but so worth the trip, as she saved my Muffy's life when even the most elite veterinary hospital in Sorrento Valley stated that Muffin had Yorkie Encephalitis and would have a very short life and die very soon. They wanted to put her on steroids, and totally gave up on her survival.
Her name is Dr. Hebbler, and she runs Healing Hope in Solana beach. She is expensive, she is very busy, and works only part of the week, but she is a miracle.
If you get the opportunity to have an appointment with her, do it!!! I trust her completely. She does not deal only with Yorkies, but she is the most incredible Vet and human being on the planet.
She is very spiritual, and uses homeopathic and naturiopathic and holistic healing as well as energy work such as reiki, flower essences, cranial sacro manipulation, muscle testing, physical therapy, herbal medicine, acupuncture, chiropractic, etc. etc. etc. and also traditional veterinary medicine when called for. After my regular Vet, in Temecula, overdosed Muffin with a rabies shot in addition to giving her other shots- Muffy was dying from heavy metal poisoning in the brain. She became blind in one eye. She could not walk, eat, or even eliminate. She could only lay in bed and cry.
She was only a year and a half old. If I had not searched the entire phone book that night, when Muffin began to die, (crying my eyes out, I might add), Muffin would not be here today. Luckily, I found Healing Hope and was able to save Muffin's life and now Muffin is a spunky mischievous little girl full of spunk, energy and full of the devil.
