 Olivia Update
Olivia was adopted late last year and we have just been updated on her progress. Although she was estimated to be about 16 years old and both deaf and blind, the new owners opted to pay for the expensive double cataract surgery.
Olivia sailed through the surgery quite well and now has total vision! She can see like she hasn't been able to see in years! Bravo to the wonderful new family who paid for this expense. They felt that since she was deaf, she would have a much better quality of life if she could at least see. I am attaching a photogrpah of her taken recently. They shaved all the hair off of her face because of the surgery but it will grow back before too long.
Even though the photo I received is not of good quality you can see that her beautiful brown eyes have now returned to their former glory! You go Olivia! Congratulations!!! |
