When I'm checking Harleys teeth...I feel them to see if they are loose, he doesn't like it but he lets me do it..LOL...Most will lose the molars on there own...its there Milk "baby" K9's that usually has to be removed and the ones I look at the most...you will see both K9's side by side...the smallest of the K9's is the baby K9...I take my finger and try and move that tooth...if its loose you will see it if not it won't move at all...Some loose them all with no problems My Bailey lost all her teeth I didn't have to have any removed but My Bella had to have 2 removed and now I have Harley and I'm waitting to see if any need to be removed as well...I really don't see a difference as far as the molars I feel to see if they are loose cause with the molars the adult molar usually comes in right under it and pushes the baby molar out...but the K9's have a space beside them and if that space is big enough the adult K9 will come in and won't push the baby K9 out....hope this helps..Good luck
