Bordatella is not a deadly disease. It is not FUN to deal with and if Piper ever got it, I would feel terrible. HOWEVER...I am not going to vaccinate her every 6 months. The daycare she goes to now is PHENOMENAL, clean, and on top of their game. They do not require 6 months, so I won't be doing it. A new one opening up **highly suggests** it, so I'm waiting to see if they come back and say she can't go without another vaccine. I emailed them back and said we wouldn't be interested if they required her to get it again.
I realize it can happen and respect those who do vaccinate every 6 months but I've made the decision not to. Thanks for everyones insight. |
