Dr Pete, my "old" vet told me I had to learn to do alot of stuff myself. IF I did not, then I could not afford to breed. So he taught me to give shots, dock tails/declaws, clean anal glands, cut nails, pull ear hair and clean the ears properly.
There is nothing wrong in doing waht you can yourself..infact it is wise IMO. Nothing worse then having to take a newborn litter outdoors in the winter for tail docking..or a crowded client for shots. JMO |
