I think they must have some concept of elasped time since when I go to the store and run other errands and come home, Tibbe is very happy and excited when I get home, dancing around on his hind feet, wanting kisses, hugs. But when I work a full day and come home, he is over the moon, jerky, excited, very, very hyper and
racing around the house. I have noticed a definite intensity to the level of his greeting directly related to how many hours in the day I am away. We've not been separated overnight except by neutering and I can't judge by that really. But from the way Tibbe acts in greeting me tells me he has some concept of time.
I can tell you miss those babies in your arms!!! Nothing like an armfull of Yorkie!
