Hi Debbie:

One month old is pretty young to expect a puppy to sleep through the night. Just like a baby, they need to poop, urinate or play when everyone else is asleep. Try putting a small ticking clock wrapped in a flannel blanket in the crate at night with the pup. They get pretty lonely. He still yearns for the comfort of his mother. The dog will eventually adjust to your schedule on his own. My yorkie is 4 months old now and just recently started sleeping through the night! We feed Comet 3 meals a day and try to give him all meals before 5pm . His digestive system allows him to go for his last potty walk at about 11:00 pm, and he's good through the night until 6:00am.

Hang in there your pup will adjust over the next several months. Just be consistent, and try not to overfeed.
