First of all sorry to hear about your baby. I know how hard it is to see them ill. I love my guy so much that I still wake up in the middle of the night to check if he is breathing. He is two years old now. About the growth question, they reach full size at 6 or 7 months. The standard weight is between 3 to 7 pounds. If they exceed that weight they are considered "Silkies" .
