So I am a college student and I live with 3 other people. We all have our own rooms, but when I leave and crate Owen, he just barks and barks and cries and whines forever. I have tried everything to have him quiet down, but nothing works.

He has a good association with his crate as well... he constantly crawls in there on his own and lays down. I have tried treats, ignoring him, etc. NOTHING has worked.

It is really disruptive to my roommates, especially when I have to leave early in the morning for class or they are trying to study or something. I would LOVE to let him just run around our house, but that is too much responsibility to lay on my roommates when I am not around. They are not willing to play with him and let him out when he needs to.

I am moving out and living by myself in an apartment in August, so that should be a better situation for him and I.. but I need a solution for now!
