 Antibiotics + mucolytic
My yorkie had been suffering from cough since I got him not more than 2 weeks ago. So, im not sure how long since he had the cough before I bougjt him. I asked the breeder, said that there was no cough when I bought him, but he does have cough from day 1 since I brought
Him home. I already took him to the vet, he gave him ambroxol a Mucolytic. Then after a week of not much improvement, a breeder-friend advised to give some antibiotics. I am administering 1ml of each twice a day.
Yorkie is turning 5 mos on 29th march...
Is it ok to give vitamin c? Can the dog handle much more medicine. I also would like to boost his immune system while undergoing medication, but i dont know how. Any suggestions? Thanks! |
