Well, my 3 boys are ages 3 and 4, and they STILL have to be crated while we r gone. WE have tried numerous times, because they are soo good when we r home they dont get into anything except their own toys. But when we leave, they destroy things like furniture
We have 1 yorkie, who is okay if left out alone. But i feel that is very unfair to crate 2 and leave 1 out. The other two are terriers also, a puggle/jack russell mix, and a rat terrier/jack russel mix. I hate that they still have to go in a crate for a few hours while we r both gone. But its also for their own safety, i would have for them to eat something bad and get sick.
