Mine have eaten little pieces of acorn that the squirrels, and I tell them no all the time. I did have one that got a tummy upset. My Vet said they would have to eat a whole lot for it to cause a real problem. I do watch them like a hawk when it comes to the acorns that the squirrels don't get.
