Tinkerbell has the coarse coat that an off-color Yorkie can have. Some times I have heard breeders use them to firm up colors in their lines. Especially, if they are red-legged.
Now, the up side of this is that she will be REALLY low maintainence. Her coat will be a zip to care for. The down side is if her skin is affected as in the off-colors. The skin can be like that of a Blue Born and can be rough. IF, the ears have a coat on them, they will not require sunscreen as the ones with "bald" ears. It really sounds as if she has no health problems and would be a great pet for someone. What Yorkie does not come with issues? They are the most inquisitive, ornery babies alive and that is their draw as far as I am cocerned.
I know you and hubby will work this out and if you decide you cannot take another Yorkie, find another deserving and loving person on YT.. Do not feel bad if you decide you cannot take her. Sometimes, things just will not work and another solution is the answer. |
