Leaving him for the day at the vet's for monitoring last week was also more difficult than I would have expected...he's trying to escape from the vet's wife, who is holding him and get back to me....Like they know your leaving them...do they wonder if you are coming back? That breaks my heart to think about it, because you can't explain to them what's happening.
Is it that hard when you have skin-kids to leave them??!
Skin kids: It's only hard for the first couple, once you have 4 like me you look forward to them getting old enough to spend the night at a friends. lol --- well when they're teenagers that is!! (the true story is I have always encouraged the friends to stay at our house - that way I know what they're all up to plus you get "silence" <if you have a big house> as God forbid they won't talk to you with friends there!!)
Can definitely relate to missing the Yorkies. I worry what they're up to, whether someone has broken in and stolen them (I let my mind really start to wander sometimes), I can't hardly wait to come home to them.
