I don't understand that excuse either. We brought our cat with us from Germany to the states and had her for 17 long years until she passed away 3 years ago... why can't people move across the U.S. with their pets? Certainly there are extenuating circumstances sometimes, but not as often as we all hear the excuse "We're moving."
