I here this excuse a lot of times when people are rehoming, in fact this is the number one reason why. It still does not make any sense though. Take your Yorkie with you on the plane! From CA to Texas , it would not be that expensive would it?
I just feel that dogs are for life, their suppose to stay with their family , no matter what. They are not disposable . But, they end up that way.
