This is one reason breeders love to find someone who will care for the stud...they use it for stud and it pees in YOUR house.
My studs lived separate from the females and were not housepets...they peed on each other, in the food dish, water dish and beds...it is what they do...loved my boys, but I would never own a breeding male for a pet. |  From your experience what can you say about retired breeding males? If they are placed in a pet home away from females in heat and neutered will they still continue their marking ways or is there hope for them. Also the same question applies to females. I have some females that are horrible about marking.
