Princess is still a work in progress....she was doing great outside til about Jan. when she would just stop, sit & shiver or try to walk on 3 legs cuz she was so cold...that was with a sweater & winter coat on....so i started the pad training (that she could not grasp in the very beginning), and she's been doing good. just today she finally pooped on the pad (1st time)
, but she's been pooping in the bathroom for quite some time now.
we've been going out more that it's warmer but i still want the pads as a backup as i have health probs that don't always allow me to take her out.
and like others, i immediately flush the poop & change the pads frequently, i've never had a prob with the smell, plus i guess if i need to i can always turn on the exhaust fan.
